Evil Pope

I have made an icon for the Arcade section of my website.
It's a gameboy type handheld gaming device with the screen showing a character looking like The evil Pope, casting some unholy spell.

I have installed Aseprite! Turns out this is THE APP for pixel art. After watching a couple of youtube videos and browsing pinterest, I've come up with my very first Pixel Art drawings.

I started to learn this medium because of my life-long love for old platformer games. I think it's not that hard to guess since you are reading this on a website that looks like a retro Video Game Console!

Now that I'm trying to build my own Personal brand around this style, it seemed so obvious to learn the medium that called my name for so long. well... now seemed the right time for it.

32x32 res canvas and 1 bit color (for the most part!)

Fun fact about today, I was making these avatars (of me and my gf) during the break hours in my day-job that My coworkers inevitably caught me drawing, they practically demanded me to make one for them too. They loved them so much, that they began pulling anybody they could find in the office, to show them my little Pixel arts!

That felt super good tbh! Talk about a huge confidence boost and gaining a lot of subjects to practice my craft on!
